Day 9

Sorry this is so late, I know that everyone likes morning posts but there really wasn't anything new yet. So here is the newest update; His WBC is 11.5, which is great its means that it is moving in the right direction and means that the antibotics are working. Shane was up this morning making laps around the nurses station he made 3 to be exact. He fed himself breakfast and lunch and is finally eating something besides jello, ice cream and protien shakes. He ate french toast, carrots, potatoes and apple cobbler (no not all togethor). Of course he is still a Peterson so he also ate pleanty of ice cream. He showered and brushed his teeth. His heart will still need some work but the experts have yet to agree what will be best so we are waiting on them. Shane's brain is functioning better for the first time in 9 days he realizes where he is and what has happened to him. It was an emotional day for him as he connected the dots and went through the pictures of his experience. We will hope that he remembers tomorrow.
