Day 6

Last night was a little rough he did not sleep a lot. He is restless and still in pain, we are focusing on positive reinforcement and encouraging him to do more for himself, we would like to see him get out of bed today, or at least sit up and swing his feet of the edge of the bed. He has had a bath again, and brushed his teeth for the first time since Tuesday, which he did all by himself, good for you honey. We are encouraging him to also eat more otherwise a feeding tube will need to be placed, so bring the treats on. He has developed a fever today, his LT lung in starting to collapse and he is doing breathing treatments (incentive spirometry). We a grateful to family and friend who are always here for us, please know that you are an essential part of the healing team we are so grateful you.
